What is Ferro Quinua?
Ferro Quinua is a dietary supplement specifically developed to prevent and treat iron deficiency anemia at any age.
It has a delicious flavor and comes in the form of a granulated powder that is taken dissolved in milk, water or smoothies that can be sweetened to taste. All its ingredients are natural, it does not contain sugar and it is gluten free.

Made of natural superfoods from Peru
Red Quinoa
Andean cereal, a red variety that stands out for its protein, gluten-free, nutritious and antioxidant potential that favors the development and growth of the child.
Camu Camu
Tropical fruit from our Amazon that has the highest content of Vitamin C (100 times more than lemon). It is antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial.
Cocoa
Rich in antioxidants, magnesium, iron and minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, copper, manganese and, to a lesser extent, selenium, potassium and zinc. Helps lower cholesterol and relieves stress.
Heminic Iron
Fortified with Heminic Iron, which is more easily absorbed than any other type of iron, since its bioavailability in the body is greater and its assimilation is immediate.
Spice
Cinnamon and cloves of the best quality (100% natural) that provide a delicious flavor. Cinnamon helps to control bad cholesterol levels and also regulate glucose level.

The portion of 4 grs. (01 teaspoon) contains 6.88mg of heme iron and is consumed diluted in water or milk that can be sweetened to taste.

DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION
How was it born?
Anemia (iron deficiency) is one of the main public health problems in Peru and is associated with poor nutrition. The family diet in our country contains low content of meats (those that provide heme iron).
In Peru, more than 40% of children under 3 years of age suffer from anemia, with iron deficiency being the main cause.
In response to this problem and after a process of research and consultations with specialists in medicine and nutrition, our company set out to develop a nutritional supplement high in iron content.
Where is it produced?
Throughout the development process we had the valuable support of the Technological Institute of Production – ITP and the CITEagroindustrial Chavimochic, in whose plant the formula was developed and where Ferro Quinua is currently produced in Viru – La Libertad – Perú.
Ferro Quinua is elaborated with quality and safety standards in a HACCP certified plant.
Preliminary tests and trials
In October 2019, the Technological Institute of Production carried out, in addition to the laboratory tests, acceptability tests with children from an initial school in Virú – La Libertad. The results of these tests were very positive, the children gladly enjoyed the delicious taste of Ferro Quinua.
